This course covers the fundamentals of semiconductor devices, including N-type and P-type
semiconductors, diodes, and transistors. Students will explore diode characteristics, rectifiers,
voltage regulators, and transistor biasing. Additionally, the course includes an introduction to
number systems, binary arithmetic, and digital logic gates. Practical applications of Boolean
algebra and logic simplification in designing combinational circuits are emphasized.
